Excellent service, I used this firm to represent my fiancé who is not a stranger to the system and when I tell you that I was so impressed with her service and her representation. I was shopping around for attorneys that could represent him and was getting no where after talking to Tamika McKoy, I knew that this was the firm that I wanted to represent him. I am so happy that I made this choice. She was very knowledgeable and straight forward on what she could do for him and the outcome was what we prayed for. Hopefully, we will never need her services again but if we do I know that we are in good hands.
UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNPREPARED! Tamika McKoy initially impressed us with her professional knowledge and experience when we sought her legal representation for our daughter. However, it was all downhill from there. Throughout the entire year and a half long legal process, she kept us and our daughter completely in the dark: NEVER communicating with any of us prior to court appearances and only RELUCTANTLY and BEGRUDGINGLY responding to our requests for updates afterwards. For one scheduled court date, Tamika failed to show up. We had to track her down through her office assistant, who resisted our requests to reach her, stating that she was busy. For the other scheduled court appearances, Tamika continually seemed unprepared. At the final court session, she did not provide any appropriate counsel or guidance to our daughter for her court testimony (or that she would even need to provide any testimony). We never got a clear sense of how, or how much, Tamika was advocating on our daughter’s behalf. We virtually had zero communication with her. We were very unhappy with her representation and DEFINITELY would not recommend her.

I have been Tamika's client for almost 4 years. She was a God send! I'll never forget when Tamika came to visit me in jail... I cried my eye balls out... I had lost EVERYTHING! And she cried with me. She has not only been my lawyer, but my counselor as well. She always made time for me and was always professional. She has a very laxed demeanor. But, don't let that foul you! Tamika McCoy has been very professional, and an absolutely amazing help to my case. My trial was continued 8 times now and Tamika and I will actually be in court for a nineth and hopefully final court date. Throughout this entire year long ordeal, Tamika has continued to work hard for me and provide her excellent service. Ms.Tomika McKoy is an excellent lawyer I can honestly say she gets the job done I want to thank her so much, she represented me in my case and my rights where violated something that happens on the Day-to-Day bases. We sat, I told her my story with complete truth searching for help, soon as I was done explaining what happened she told me I think I got this can't be 100% because there's always a chance it can go either way depending on certain circumstances but the way she just approaches the situation is great from the arguments in the courtroom to the privite conversation to the inspiration to do better! Ms Tamika Mckoy Esq. worked extremely hard on my behalf. The prosecutor would not budge and although they offered a plea agreement, the DA still wanted to keep the charge as a felony conviction. Ms. Mckoy worked diligently to get the charge reduced to a misdemeanor. She is professional, personable, and compassionate.
